Michael’s mission is to improve the human condition through innovative startups knowing that each new product can address a fundamental need in society.

An entrepreneur at heart, he uses his engineering education to help creative and motivated entrepreneurs catalyze positive change through technology. When not working on his mission, Michael enjoys being outdoors and advancing his knowledge on a variety of subjects.

Incubation program director

Coming from a sales and marketing background, Eric found himself in the technology and startup industry through his many travels and fell in love with the passion that entrepreneurs have to change the world, and make it more efficient. Since then, he has been driven to joint them in their mission.

Eric received his MBA from the University of British Columbia in Entrepreneurship and Innovation. He also worked with startups in Quebec, Ontario, Vancouver, Silicon Valley (Cali), and Chilecon Valley (nickname given to Santiago, Chile in South America). His background and intellectual curiosity will allow him to support innovative startups at IIG, regardless of their field of activity.

Soufiane Kadar

Soufiane, father of two daughters, is a passionate inventor with over 10 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, process optimization and business development. After graduating with a degree in mechanical engineering and an MBA in entrepreneurship, Soufiane created companies in several fields such as design and manufacturing of automated machines, IoT (Internet of things), industry 4.0 and SAAS platforms.

The combination of his technical, entrepreneurial and creative expertise gives him the opportunity to help startups validate their early stage business models and optimize and automate their growing business processes.

Joani Vallespir

 

Community and administrative coordinator

Joani is completing her Master’s of Project Management program at University of Québec in Outaouais, and has a degree in Arts from the University of Ottawa. Joani is an avid film buff, especially of independent and auteur cinema, and has had the opportunity to work on several occasions in event management for the Outaouais Film Festival and the Angoulême Francophone Film Festival where she helped manage the overall organization, served as the press agent, and the film festival photographer.

In her spare time, she enjoys composing music, cultural trips, and water sports.

It is with enthusiasm that she joins the team in order to offer you a wide range of activities and events.

Christine Denis

 

operations manager

Christine excels in the fields of interpersonal relations, justice, communications and public administration. An entrepreneur herself for over 5 years, she is a wellness coach and trainer in her own business and at the Institute. Author of two books, one of which won two awards in California, USA, she is known for her public speaking skills, her leadership skills, and her ability to create strong synergy among team members.

In keeping with her own values, she values authenticity, exchange, professionalism, justice, commitment and surpassing oneself. Christine has acquired in-depth knowledge of management, administration and the day-to-day operations of an organization during her more than 20 years as the head and clerk of a municipal court. Her mission is to help people breathe new life into their lives. She does this by using her strength and light to bring mental calm, overall well-being and inner peace.
