Challenges

The growing company needed support to obtain seed funding for its application in order to commercialize its product with the proof of concept obtained.

Solutions

App8 has benefited greatly from the business network that facilitated the connection with seed capital investors. This same business network contributed to the success of a C$1.1 million financing round, part of which was raised from IIG network investors.

Cocoriko

Cocoriko is a digital platform for citizen participation offered to municipalities, governments, urban planning firms, architects, and other organizations, to obtain the community’s opinion on projects.

Challenges

The growing company needed support to access financial assistance. Cocoriko also wanted to acquire the right tools in order to develop an efficient work team. In addition, it wanted to receive help in making decisions from the technology team.

Solutions

Cocoriko received support for its application for the Momentum grant as well as for the creation of a market study with IA7. This market study put the company in contact with the CNRC-PARI program, and subsequently Export Outaouais to obtain assistance in exporting the platform to international markets.

In addition, Cocoriko received coaching to hire their first developer employees and to make informed decisions on the technological development of the application.

Archyz

Archyz is a service company working in 3D visualization and in the development of interactive digital presentation tools. During its 5 years of existence, the company has been able to deliver numerous projects in many fields, including real estate.

Challenges

Archyvz started in the incubation programs in February 2022. In full growth, it wanted to structure its internal management. In addition, the company wanted to develop a product and increase its sales.

Solutions

With the help of the institute, the programs allowed the company to structure their guideline.

Kubicule

Kubicule began its incubation program in September 2020 with almost no traction in the market and a first product in prototype. The company was looking for help in positioning itself to its target market, as well as in the structure and strategy needed to build its product while remaining innovative and profitable.

The growing company needed support to obtain seed funding for its application in order to commercialize its product with the proof of concept obtained.

With the help of our coaches and incubation program, Kubicule is now offering a 4th iteration of its product based on customer feedback and has developed a network of inter-provincial distributors between Quebec and Ontario.

Kohezion

Kohezion is a platform that allows its users to build custom online applications that are secure and easy to use without the need for programmers. Implementation and cost are dramatically reduced.

Challenges

The growing company needed support in strategic positioning to better understand their key markets. By stopping to position itself as an application open to all SMEs and by focusing on the niche market of the health sector with high security needs, the Kohezion team has enjoyed continued success.

Solutions

Kohezion benefited from the contribution of several coaches and the internal team of the IIG, but the one who marked him the most during his programming was Francis Dion – Expert in the marketing of innovative products thanks to tactics and modern sales and marketing strategies.

Inbeat

Inbeat is an influencer marketing agency that uses technology to create matches between companies and micro-influencers on social media.

Challenges

The growing company needed support in organizational management and accounting in order to better understand their finances. Then, with a growing sales team, InBeat needed specific sales and marketing coaching.

InBeat benefited from the contribution of 2 coaches from the Institut Innovation Gatineau. Olivier Carré works directly with the founder in terms of managing his operations. Marcos Carvalho works with the sales team to refine their marketing funnel.
